Serve

“… the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”  Matthew 20:28

Jesus demonstrated the virtue of service with his life and ministry on earth.  Serving God and serving one another unlocks the gifts and talents inside of you.  Serving others helps you to know one another and to be known by one another.  When you serve God and others from a heart of service, you find joy and meaning in life that makes it richer and more complete.  It is through service that our leadership skills are developed and sharpened.

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

Leaving the four walls of the church, we enter the world.  We believe that every member should be involved in the Great Commission.  FRONTLINE RESOURCES is the outreach and mission-mobilizing arm of  C3 Trinity Dallas.  FRONTLINE is the face of all our mission effort both locally and globally.

3 WAYS to Participate on the FRONTLINE of the Great Commission:

  • PRAY—Pray for our members at home and our partners in the community and around the world.
  • GIVE—Every fall we have a couple of weeks where we emphasize our mission efforts.  During this time we present our giving budget for the coming year.  Members and regular attendees have the opportunity to pledge a monthly or annual amount over and above their tithe.  In addition, others make a “faith promise” of an amount that they promise to give should the Lord give them income over and above what they expect for the coming year.  It has been very exciting to see so many whose faith has grown as they have seen God work in their finances by agreeing to give when the excess comes!
  • GO—We have been organizing and leading short-term missions trips since our inception.  We know if you go on a short-term mission trip to a foreign country, you can’t help but come back different!  People who go, minister and serve in another nation always come back as a stronger Christian when they get home. Just ask anyone at C3 Trinity who has been on a short-term mission trip about his or her experience.  You’ll get a big smile and a lot of encouragement to try it yourself.  Go.  It is life changing for you and for the people you touch.
