Say CHEESE!

Highlights

When kids begin to understand they are made in the image of God, they tend to look at the world and themselves in a different way. Your child will learn how special God made them. God made each and everyone of us with unique features because we are ALL special and we are ALL important to Him. God loves us SO much that even the number of hairs on our heads matter to Him.

Teaching Truth:

You are important to God. He even knows how many hairs are on your head! Luke 12:7

Say This:

Who made you? God made you.

Do This:

Cuddle with your child this month and pray, “Dear God, thank You for making (child). (He/she) is SO special. I love how You made (his, her) (name all your kinds of things about your child). I pray every time (he, she) looks in the mirror, they will see someone who is important because You made them and love them. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Memory Verse:

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalm 139:14, NIV

INDESCRIBABLE: Your Creator Has No Limits

Highlights

Creativity is imagining what you could do because you were made in God’s image. God is the master creator, forming us and calling us His handiwork. He designed us to do good works. In the book of Esther, we learn about God creating us with a purpose to fulfill. The purpose for every follower of Jesus is to be used by God and to be a Godly influence in the lives of others.

Teaching Truth:

God created you to work with others and to share His story.

Memory Verse:

“Lord, you are great. You are really worthy of praise. No one can completely understand how great you are.” Psalm 145:3, NIrV

Say This:

God created me for a purpose.

Do This:

On your child’s mirror, write a few quality characteristics you see in them. (kind, funny, grateful, strong, brave, wise) At the bottom of the mirror, write, “God created you for a purpose.” This will be a great reminder to them as they start their day!
