Highlights
In the New Testament, we learn how much Jesus loves us. Jesus still loved Peter, even though Peter denied knowing Him. Jesus loved the Romans, even when they wanted to hurt Him. Paul told the people of Rome how much Jesus loved them and to trust Him. We learn that Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us in Heaven to live with Him forever and ever!
Teaching Truth:
Jesus wants to be my friend forever.
Say This:
God, thank you for sending Jesus to be my friend forever.
Do This:
As you pray with your child this month, ask God to help your child value truth. Tell your child that Jesus is always telling the truth, and that means we can always trust what He says.

FOCUS: Take a Closer Look
Highlights
This month, we learn about God’s gift of grace. The Bible tells us that when we have faith in Jesus and ask Him for forgiveness, He saves us! It is nothing that we can do, but a free gift of grace from God. In the book of Revelations, we see the promise of Heaven and that we will live with Jesus forever and ever!
Teaching Truth
FAITH: Trusting in what you can’t see because of what you can see.
Say This:
Following Jesus will turn out greater than you can imagine.
Do This:
While driving around, have your child look out the window and talk about the things you see here on Earth and what they will be like in Heaven. For example, you see a flower and you can say you think the flower will be even bigger or brighter in Heaven. Talk about how Heaven will have an ocean that is crystal clear and will be the most beautiful blue.
