When we think about becoming a learner or disciple our perspective is that of modernity and a western worldview. So, we think of a classroom, a lecture hall, or an online learning platform. We think of bullet points, list, and charts. But this style of learning was not how Jesus made disciples. Jesus walked every were and as he walked, he taught those who followed through stories. He painted pictures with words that formed both the mind and the heart.
