Galatians | Introduction

The moment Jesus gave the good news to the disciples, critics, the religious elite, politicians, local power brokers and even His followers began to argue against this grace-filled and potent gospel. For example, the Judaizers insisted Christians abide by certain Old Testament rites. By introducing extra requirements for justification, they perverted the gospel by adding bondage and legalism. Paul’s letter to the Galatians stands against this complication with the eloquent and freeing truth that man is justified by faith in the person of Jesus! “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age (Galatians 1:3-4).”

Join us for this study in Galatians as we discover the simplicity and potency of Christ’s finished work of justification for the world. Through Jesus you can walk with God, secure in your relationship with Him, untethered from the cultural bondage of our day.
